Back in 2019, we from Discovering Destinations traveled to Portugal for an unforgettable two-week road trip, where we spent two full days and three nights discovering the Algarve region, exploring the best Algarve Hotels, Portugal has to offer. We stayed in Arrifana, Aljezur – a beautiful and serene location, perfect for sunset views. However, we found it a bit inconvenient as it required driving 1-2 hours to reach popular spots like Carvoeiro and Lagos. The roads were also narrow and somewhat dangerous. So, based on our experience and what we learned, we’ve compiled hotel recommendations that we believe would provide a better location and experience for exploring Algarve’s main attractions.
